What the observer could reasonably see and compare.

Question 1Was visibility good enough to see the object clearly?
Question 2Was the object visible long enough to observe useful detail?
Question 3Were fixed reference points visible, such as horizon, trees, buildings, terrain, or clouds?
Question 4Was the observer stationary, or was observer motion adequately accounted for?
Question 5Was the observation free of unaccounted reflections, windows, glare, or other optical interference?
